Bogenhausen

Bogenhausen is an upscale area with jewelers, designer boutiques, and high-end food shops on wide avenue Prinzregentenstrasse. It's also known for the Freidensengel monument, a golden angel atop a column near the Isar River, and for its elegant 1800s buildings. The art nouveau Museum Villa Stuck exhibits works by Bavarian artist Franz von Stuck, while the swanky Prinzregententheater stages opera and concerts.
