Boris Vorontsov-Velyaminov Life story
Boris Aleksandrovich Vorontsov-Velyaminov was a Soviet/Russian astrophysicist. His name is sometimes given as Vorontsov-Vel'yaminov. He independently discovered the absorption of light by interstellar dust, which was also discovered by Robert Julius Trumpler.
