About Boy Slaves
A desperate, homeless Depression-era youth gang led by quick-witted Jesse Thompson (Roger Daniel) gets hauled before a judge on a minor charge. Rather than being sentenced to prison, they're remanded to the custody of seemingly altruistic businessman Albee (Charles Lane), who promises to set them up with jobs at his turpentine factory. But, when they arrive at the remote forest encampment, Albee reveals himself to be a vicious taskmaster, and the boys must live in dangerous and cruel privation.
