About Brown Lory
The brown lory, also called Duyvenbode's lory, is a species of parrot in the family Psittaculidae. The scientific name commemorates Maarten Dirk van Renesse van Duivenbode, Dutch trader of naturalia on Ternate. It is found in northern New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
