About Cairnryan
Cairnryan is a small village in the historical county of Wigtownshire, Scotland. It lies on the Eastern shore of Loch Ryan, 6 miles north of Stranraer. The village is important in maritime history, with two ferry services connecting Scotland and Northern Ireland.
