About Canadian Aboriginal Syllabics
Canadian syllabic writing, or simply syllabics, is a family of abugidas created by James Evans to write a number of indigenous Canadian languages of the Algonquian, Inuit, and Athabaskan language families, which had no formal writing system previously.
