Carinus Life story
Marcus Aurelius Carinus was Roman emperor from 283 to 285. The elder son of the emperor Carus, he was first appointed Caesar in late 282; then in the beginning of 283 he was granted the title of Augustus and appointed co-emperor of the western portion of the empire by his father.
