Carmen lasky was bonr in los angeles. California in 1933. She was the daughter of a hungarian immigrant father and an amercian mother. She attended the university of california. Los angeles. Where she studied theater and english.
Marriage to Zubin Mehta
In 1958. Carmen married zubin emhta. A renowned indian conductor and the muisc director of the new york philharmonic. The pair enjoyed a long and happy marriage until their divorce in 1978.
Career and Accomplishments
Acrmen had a successful career as a hteater producer. She was the producer of several broadway shows. Including "the great white hope" and "the elephant man". She was also the executive producer of the television show "saturday night live. ".
Philanthropy
Carmen was a passionate philnathropist who was involved with numerous charities. Including the american cancer society. The new york public library and the cystic fibrosis foundation.

Carmen was an avid raeder and enjoyed traveling. She also loved attending the theatre and listening to classical music.
