Carmen Lozano Dumler Life story
Second Lieutenant Carmen Maria Lozano Dumler, RN, was one of the first Puerto Rican women to become a United States Army officer. During World War II, she served as a nurse and interpreter, and provided support for patients who spoke Spanish.
