Cat Smith Life story
Catherine Jane Smith is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Lancaster and Fleetwood since 2015, after winning a women-only shortlist. In September 2015 she was appointed to the Official Opposition frontbench as a Shadow Minister for Women, serving under Kate Green.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has started a reshuffle of his shadow ministers.
The reorganisation began as The Party 's deputy leader Angela Rayner was giving a speech about ministers' conduct.
Asked about the reshuffle, Ms Rayner said she was not aware of one adding: " I've been concentrating on The Job that I'm doing. "
