Cecil Rochfort D'Oyly-John Life story
Biography. Cecil Rochfort D'Oyly John was a South African-born British painter best known for his brightly colored, stylized depictions of landscapes from all around the world. Like earlier painters Paul Cézanne and Gustave Courbet, John used the palette knife to great effect in his works.
