Cephissus is a river flowing through the Athens agglomeration, Greece. The Bibliotheca declares that Erechtheus' wife Praxithea was daughter of Phrasimus by Diogenia daughter of Cephissus. The source of the river is in the saddle between the Parnitha and Penteli mountains.
