Chantek

Chantek, born at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center in Atlanta, Georgia, was a male hybrid Sumatran/Bornean orangutan who mastered the use of a number of intellectual skills, including American Sign Language, taught by American anthropologists Lyn Miles and Ann Southcombe.
