Charanda

Charanda is an alcoholic spirit derived from sugarcane, similar to rum. Typically the beverage is associated with the central portion of the State of Michoacán in Mexico, particularly the Purépecha-populated areas in the vicinity of the prominently agricultural City of Uruapan.
