Charles Mackellar Life story
Sir Charles Kinnaird Mackellar KCMG was an Australian politician and surgeon. He served in the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1885 to 1925, with the exception of a period of 50 days in 1903 when he filled a casual vacancy in the Senate. He was the father of the noted poet Dorothea Mackellar.
