Charlotte Undset Life story
Charlotte Undset was the mother of the novelist and Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset. Charlotte was born Marie Nicoline Charlotte Glyth 30 May 1855 in Kalundborg, Denmark. She died 24 August 1939 in Oslo. She was the daughter of the wealthy chancellor, lawyer Peter Andreas Gyth.
