Competitive cheerleading is often a high-stakes, high-pressure activity, which is why there are coaches like Patty Ann Romero, a former gymnast and certified hypnotist, who help cheer teams train for their competitions. Romero is the co-founder and director of Central Jersey All Stars, a company whose staff strives to produce successful competitive cheerleading teams while instilling a strong sense of pride, confidence and self-respect in the athletes. This docuseries follows Romero and her team of 20 highly conditioned cheerleaders as they perform jaw-dropping stunts and choreographed dance moves. When not practicing in the gym, the girls must balance their schedule of conditioning and competitions with school and everyday teenage life.
