Clarence Earle Dickinson Life story
Clarence Dickinson graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Class of 1934. When Lieutenant Dickinson's Second Gold Star was presented in 1942, he became the first person in history to receive THREE Navy Crosses, a distinction he gained simultaneously with fellow pilot Lieutenant Noel A. M. Gayler.
