Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo is a Mexican politician and scientist, who served as Head of Government of Mexico City, equivalent to a state governor, from 2018 to 2023. Elected as the candidate of the leftist Juntos Haremos Historia coalition, she is both the first woman and Jew to be elected to the position.
