Copper Sulfide

Copper sulfides describe a family of chemical compounds and minerals with the formula CuₓSy. Both minerals and synthetic materials comprise these compounds. Some copper sulfides are economically important ores. Prominent copper sulfide minerals include Cu₂S and CuS.
