Cornelius Dupre Life story
Cornelius Du Pre was a Huguenot emigrant (1540-1790). Cornelius Du Pre was a Carolina colonist. Cornelius or Corneille DuPré, son of Josias DuPré and Martha Gobaille, was baptized 12 July 1681 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He arrived in the Province of Carolina with his father in 1686.
