About Corse-du-Sud
Corse-du-Sud is a department in the French island of Corsica. On its west coast, Scandola Nature Reserve has volcanic rocks and ospreys. In the city of Ajaccio, Maison Bonaparte was Napoleon's family home. To the north are the pink-granite cliffs of Calanques de Piana. South is Filitosa archaeological site, with prehistoric statues. On Corsica's southern tip is the clifftop town of Bonifacio and its medieval citadel.
