Wyatt Bernstein is a 12-year-old boy who is surrounded by females -- including older sisters Amanda and Cleo, younger sister Jasmine and mom Mel. Wyatt is a typical preteen boy -- he likes hanging out at the arcade with pal Pesto -- but he desperately wants a brother with whom he could do "guy stuff" and have male camaraderie at home. So when his family takes him to a Build-A-Bestie store for his birthday, he creates a boy-filled Bestie. Little does he know that Bestie will fulfill his wish of having a brother -- though not a human one. The stuffed animal, Crash, comes to life, finally bringing the longed-for brotherly figure into Wyatt's life. But it's not all positive for Wyatt. Crash introduces chaos into the boy's life and inadvertently disrupts Wyatt's relationships at home and school.
