Cromwell Fleetwood Life story
Cromwell Fleetwood was the son of Charles Fleetwood, then commander-in-chief of English forces in Ireland, and his second wife Bridget, daughter of Oliver Cromwell and widow of Henry Ireton. He was born in Ireland in 1653, when his grandfather Oliver wrote his parents in August, mentioning their "little babe".
