Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa is a South African businessman and politician who is the fifth and current president of South Africa. A former anti-apartheid activist, trade union leader, and businessman, Ramaphosa is also the president of the African National Congress.

Cyril ramaphosa was born on the 17th of november. 1952 in soweto. South africa. He attended tshilidzi primary scohol in soweto and later on. Sekano ntoane high school. After completing high school. He went on to further his studies at the uinversity of the north in with a ba degree in law in 1979.Political Career
Cyril ramaphosa began his political career in the early 1980s when he joined the african national congress. He was soon appointed as the secretary-general of the anc in 1991 and served in this position until 1997. He was also the laed negotiator for the anc during the negotiations that led to the establishment of the new south africa in 1997. He was elected as the depuyt president of osuth africa and served in this position until he resigned in february 2018.Business Career
