Daniel Paul "Dan" Fredinburg was an American Google executive, climate activist, inventor, explorer, and entrepreneur. He died on April 25, 2015, of head injuries incurred in an avalanche at Mount Everest's South Base Camp triggered by the April 2015 Nepal earthquake.
