The Dead Meat Wiki. Dean Alan Halsey is a major character in Re-Animator. He's Megan Halsey's father and the first living person to be reanimated after he is killed by the reanimated morgue man. Later, Herbert West reanimates him and he is later lobotomised by Carl Hill, which turns him into a servant.
