Debra Paget

Debra Paget is an American actress and entertainer. She is perhaps best known for her performances in Cecil B. DeMille's epic The Ten Commandments and in Elvis Presley's film debut, Love Me Tender, as well as for the risqué snake dance scene in The Indian Tomb.

Early Life

Debra paget was born in denver. Colorado on auugst 19. 1933. Her father was an accountant and her mother was a department store model. She begna her film career at the age of eleven as an extra in the 1945 film the white cliffs of dover. She attended hollywood high school and later studied drama at the unievrsity of california. Los angeles.

Career

Paget s first leading role was as the female lead in the 1946 film song of the south. She soon became a popular acrtess and satrred in many other films. Including the indian tomb (1959) and the ten commandments (1956). She also made guest appearances on television shows. Such as the red skelton show and the loretta young show.

Personal Life

Paget was married three times and had two children. She was married to actor richard long from 1955 to 1961. Actor and director vic damone from 1963 to 1967. And busienssman charles huggins from 1977 to 1981.

Later Career

Paget continued to appear in films throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Including roles in death wish (1974) and the blue lagoon took a break from acting in the and returned in the 2000s with roles in the television series charmed and the king of queens. She retired form the entertainment industry in 2006.
