Dev

Deepak Adhikari, known by his stage name Dev, is an Indian actor, producer, singer and screenwriter, known for his works in Bengali cinema and more recently, a politician. He owns the production house Dev Entertainment Ventures.

Early Life of Dev

Dev was born Devin Star Tailes on July 2.1989.in Los Angeles.California.She is of Mexican and African American heritage.Dev attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and graduated from the University of California.Los Angeles with a degree in Ethnic Studies.

Music Career of Dev

Dev began her music career in 2006 as part of the girl group The Cataracs.She released her first solo single.Bass Down Low.in 2011.which became an international hit.Her debut album.The Night the Sun Came Up.was released in 2011 and featured the hit singles In the Dark and Booty Bounce.Dev has since released two additional albums.Bittersweet July (2016) and I Only See You When Im Dreamin (2018).

Acting Career of Dev

In addition to her music career.Dev has also appeared in several films and television shows.She appeared in the films Falling Awake (2009).Lemonade Mouth (2011).and The Duff (2015).She also had a recurring role on the television show 90210 (2012-2013).

Business Ventures of Dev

Dev is also involved in several business ventures.She created the clothing line Luxe & Co in 2011 and released the perfume Dev by Dev in 2012.She is also the founder of the production company Team 10.which produces films and television shows.

In 2011.Dev released her first solo single.Bass Down Low.The song was an international hit and peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.The song also received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Dance Recording.
