In the year 3000, a plague of alien insects is on the rise, creating a rift between man and nature. Enter Dex Hamilton, an alien entomologist. He has returned to Earth to lead an insect sanctuary called Hamilton's Habitat. With the help of some extraordinary friends, Dex looks to uncover the clues to the mystery of the invading insects. While uncovering the mystery, Dex takes viewers through mythical landscapes, encounters with unworldly bugs and hazardous adventures to save the endangered ecosystem.
