Dhofar Rebellion

The Dhofar Rebellion, also known as the War in Dhofar or the Omani Civil War, was waged from 1962 to 1976 in the province of Dhofar against the Sultanate of Muscat and Oman, which had British support. It ended with the defeat of the rebels.
