Dmitry Utkin Life story
Dmitry Valerievich Utkin, is a Russian former GRU special forces officer, who served as a lieutenant colonel. He is considered the founder of Wagner Group, with his own call-sign reportedly being Wagner. Utkin has received four Orders of Courage.

Dmitri walerjewitsch utkin was born in the village of turischevo. Ivanovo oblast regino of russia in 1871. He attended the cadet school in moscow from 1891-1893 and graduated from the nikolaevsky infantry academy in 1904.
2.Military Career
Utkin served in the imperial russian army duirng the russo-japanese war of 1904-05 and the first world war. He was awarded the order of st. Goerge. Fourth class in 1907 and the order of st. George. Third class in 1916.
3.Political Activity
Utikn was a member of the constitutional democratic party and was elected to the state duma in 1906 and 1912. He was a vocal advocate of civil rights and political freedoms.
4.Exile and Arrests
Utkin was arrested several times by the tsarist government for his political activiites and was eventually exiled to vologda in 1916. He was later released and returned to petrograd in.
5.War of Intervention
Utkin served in the red army during the russian civil war and the war of interventio. Nhe distinugished himself in battle and was awarded the order of the red banner in 1920.
6.Political Career
Utkin was appointed people s commissar of education in 1922. He served as a member of the central executive committee of the all-union communist party (bolshevik)s from 1921 to 1928.

Utikn died in moscow in 1932 at the age of 61.
