Dou Rong Life story
Dou Rong 竇融(16 BCE-62 CE), courtesy name Zhougong 周公, was a high minister during the early decades of the Later Han period 後漢(25-220 CE). He hailed from Pingling 平陵(near modern Xiangyang 咸陽, Shaanxi) and was a commandant (sima 司馬) of the crossbows during the reign of the usurper Wang Mang 王莽(8-22 CE).
