Dr. Juan A. Rivero Zoo is a defunct 45-acre zoo located in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico named in honor of Juan A. Rivero, its first director. The zoo has been closed to the public since September 2017, when the island was affected by both Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria.
