About Eastern Blue Groper


The eastern blue groper is a species of wrasse native to southeastern Australia from Hervey Bay in southern Queensland to Wilsons Promontory in Victoria. They occur in coastal waters, preferring rocky areas at a depth of about 40 m. Juveniles inhabit beds of seagrass in estuaries.
