Eddie Durie Life story
Sir Edward Taihakurei Durie KNZM was the first Māori appointed as a judge of a New Zealand court. He is of Rangitāne, Ngāti Kauwhata and Ngāti Raukawa descent; Mason Durie was his grandfather.
