Edgar Jené Life story
The german-french artist Edgar Jené is considered to be one of the most important founders of the viennese school of surrealism. While he was studying in Paris he was introduced to the surrealists movement around Andre Breton. He brought those impressions to Vienna, where he inspired many other artists.
