Edward Penhoet

Penhoet served as dean of the School of Public Health at the UC Berkeley. In 1981, he co-founded Chiron Corp. and served as its chief executive officer until 1998. For 10 years prior to founding Chiron, Penhoet was a faculty member of the biochemistry department at UC Berkeley.
