About Edwards County
Edwards County is a county located on the Edwards Plateau in the U. S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 2,002. The county seat is Rocksprings. The county was created in 1858 and later organized in 1883. It is named for Haden Edwards, an early settler of Nacogdoches, Texas.
