Edwin Clark Litchfield Life story
Edwin Clark Litchfield (1815-1885) was a prominent Brooklyn lawyer and businessman. Along with his brother, Electus, he developed Brooklyn's railways and the Gowanus Canal and acquired a significant tract of land from the Cortelyou estate, which the Litchfield Brothers developed into Park Slope.
