Edwin J. Messinger Life story
Edwin John Messinger was a United States Army lieutenant general. During the Korean War, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross twice for his actions as commander of the 9th Infantry Regiment in 1951. Messinger later served as the commanding general of the 25th Infantry Division.
