Effie Rodman Goethals Life story
Effie Rodman Goethals was the daughter of Captain Thomas R. Rodman of New Bedford, Massachusetts. In 1884 she married Major General George W. Goethals. She was predeceased by her husband who was the United States Army chair and chief engineer in charge of building the Panama Canal.
