Biography. Elizabeth Fitzhugh Conway was the daughter of John and Alice Thornton Fitzhugh of Belle Grove Plantation. She married Francis Conway in 1770. "Francis Conway II and Sarah's oldest child, Francis Conway III (1748/49-1794) would marry Elizabeth Fitzhugh (1754-1823). They would have six children.
