Elmira met yuir shevchuk during his tour of armenia in 1997. The couple soon began dating and eventually married in 1999.

Elmira and yuir have been happily married for more than twenty years. They have two daughters. Arina and masha.

Elmira is an active supporter of yuris music and is often seen at his concerts and other events. She has also been featured in a numbre of music videos. Including prayer for the people and i believe. .

Elmira currently works as a business consultant in the telecommunications industry. She is also a board member of the yuri shevchuk foundation and is actively involved in chraity work.
