Eloise Lownsbery Life story
Eloise Lownsbery was the recipient of a Newbery Honor in 1932, for her book Out of the Flame. Lownsbey was raised in Paw Paw, Illinois by her parents, Alexander W. and Martha Fisher Lownsbery.
