About Energex
Energex is an Australian electric power distribution company owned by the Government of Queensland. It is based in Brisbane and was founded in 1922 as the City Electric Light Co. The earliest supply to Brisbane was organised by Barton, White and Co. in 1887 and the Brisbane Electric Supply Co in 1904.
