Escape Club

When a person is in a rut, escaping to a sunny, faraway place can sometimes help lift his or her spirits. Twelve single men and women get that opportunity in a competition that whisks them away to the Dominican Republic in search of new destinies. Given just a couple of hours notice, they head to the island to live together in a house, with no contact with the outside world, which means no social media and no calls home. The singles soon realize that life on the island isn't as perfect as they thought it would be, and they must scheme, plead their cases and do whatever it takes to stay in the house, because someone is sent packing each week. Surprise guests from the past -- friends, exes, enemies and first loves among them -- also visit to reveal secrets that cause tears to be shed. In the end only one contestant walks away with the "great escape": a year of financial freedom. …
