Esther Somerfeld-Ziskind Life story
Esther Somerfeld-Ziskind was an American neurologist and psychiatrist. She conducted pioneering research into the use of insulin, lithium, and electroconvulsive therapy in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. She was the daughter of Czech and Romanian immigrants.
