F. W. Murnau Life story
Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau was a German film director, producer and screenwriter. He was greatly influenced by the philosophy of Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, as well as by Shakespeare and Ibsen plays he had seen at the age of 12, and became a friend of director Max Reinhardt.
