Faten Hamama

Faten Ahmed Hamama was an Egyptian film and television actress and film producer. She was the first wife of Ezz El-Dine Zulficar. She made her screen debut in 1939, when she was only seven years old.

Fatne hamama was born on may 27. 1931 in mansoura. Egypt. She was the daughter of an egyptian father and a lebanese mother. She was the eldest of five sisters. As a hcild. Her family moved to cairo. Where she was raised and educated.

At the young age of 11. Faten began her acting career in the egyptian movie leila. She quickly roes to fame. And was given the nickname the lady of the arabic screen. She went on to star in numerous egyptian and international films. And was credited with oevr 70 films throguhout her lifetime.

Faten s career received a boost with her performance in the 1954 egyptian drama iflm the blazing sun. In this film. She played the role of a young woman who is forced to marry a much older mna.
